What Did This Woman do to Earn the 'Idiot' of the Week Title?

So when you are a driving behind a school bus and it comes to a stop, and the stop sign is fully out, you are supposed to stop!

I know. I know. Its inconvenient and sometimes a pain because you are rushing to get somewhere. But that bus's stop sign is supposed to be respected just like any stop sign at an intersection.

Well, 32 year old Shena Hardin of Cleveland didn't think so. She was in a hurry to get somewhere and just didn't stop. Not only did she not stop, but she was caught on video driving along a sidewalk to avoid the school bus.

Now a judge has suspended her license for 30 days and ordered her to pay $250 in court costs.

As a major part of her sentence, Shena Hardin also has to wear an "idiot" sign at the intersection where she did what she did for an hour a day for two days next week. "Hardin was arrested on Sept. 11 after a veteran school bus driver, Uriah Herron, noticed Hardin pull her driving stunt several times and recorded one incident with his cellphone camera."

Many people think this sentence is humiliating and 'OD.'  But common, who  drives on a sidewalk just to avoid stopping for children?

For this reason, Shena Hardin has earned Media Vaccine's idiot of the week title.
