U.S Congressman William Todd Akin named Honorary Nigerian

U.S Representative for Missouri, William Todd Akin named Honorary Nigerian

Reasons Why

- He earned a B.S degree in engineering (Such a Nigerian degree to get)
-He said women who are victims of "legitimate rape rarely get pregnant" (sounds like something an ignorant naija politician would say)
- He objects to removing "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance (so he's very religious; good one Mr WTA)
-Last and most importantly, his last name is Akin (if thats not the most Nigerian name ever, I don't know what is)

This guy has been making headlines for the past few weeks here in the U.S. He made a mistake in his recent speech on rape, but we all make mistakes and we should forgive him and move on. I looked him up and he doesnt seem to have any historical link to Nigeria, so I wonder what background Akin's name comes from..

Anywho

He seems to stand for what is right...Well most of the time..So therefore we say e ku ise oga Akin (keep up the good work!)

  1. Please, no. Nigeria does not need to be associated with this clown.
